Yom HaShoah Service
Today, Temple Beth Tikvah held a memorial service for Yom HaShoah. The event honored Holacaust survivors, including Leon Green, Maier Gotesman, Horace Hecht, Ceil Heisner, MarcelKimelman and Joseph Sandala. Students from the Religious School interviewed the survivors and introduced each with a short essay.
Cantor Grossman performed a variety of musical selections with the assistance of the Children’s Choir and the Adult Choir. In addition to Rabbi Shub and Cantor Grossman, the following people were involved in planning the event: Eva Weiss, Andrea Smigielski, Orly, Jacobs and Diane Goldman.
